Surface active alkyl-imidazolium ionic liquids studied as templates to form vertically oriented pores in silica thin films

چکیده

In this study, thin films of mesoporous silica with vertically oriented and hexagonally ordered pores have been synthetized investigated. A variety alkyl-imidazolium ionic liquids used as the template, aim to understand how changing chain length on imidazolium cation from hexadecyl (C16) dodecyl (C12) or protic character head affects film formation order pores. addition, different types metal substrates for deposition, i.e. indium titanium oxide (ITO) gold. Complementary experimental methods, including GISAXS, Infrared spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry employed a thorough investigation morphology permeability deposited films.
